I am a late 80s kid and I fell in love w this song when I was around 10yo. As a French fella, at that time I didn’t speak English and never knew or understood what the song was speaking about. Now at almost 40yo, I’m still listening this song and Idk why but it makes me feel sad. It also hits differently now that I actually understand the lyrics. This song left a special and eternal print in my heart and mind. Dayyum music was good before.
